What is CD247?

With CD247 you can access a private doctor from your home, office or on the go 24hours a day, everyday. Our qualified doctor diagnose, treat, dispense medication and send prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice.

When is CD247 available?

Concierge Doctor 247 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, even on holidays. Use CD247 anytime you have a non-emergency medical condition, are unable to see your NHS or Private GP, or when you simply prefer a convenient, cost effective alternative to A&E, urgent care center, or clinic.

Where is CD247 available?

Concierge Doctor 247 is currently available in selected areas of London 24 hours a day.

How qualified are your doctors?

CD257 only uses highly skilled and experienced GPs in London. They share our belief that the best healthcare stems from focusing on patients as individuals, rather than merely a collection of symptoms.

Our doctors are UK trained and registered with the General Medical Council and The Royal College of General Practitioners.
Our private doctors in London take care of everything from preventive medicine to investigation and treatment of acute and chronic conditions

Can I request a visit for my child?

Yes. If you would like your child to be seen please add them as a family member on your app profile. You can select them from the drop down on booking screen.

What Mobile devices or operating systems do I need?

We currently support both iOS and Android devices. The CD247 app is available for iOS 7.0 or later and Android 4.0 or later.

What if I loose my phone or it is stolen and someone tries to use my account?

The CD247 app protects your clinical information. No records are stored on your phone, it is all on the app. To access the records on the app, you are required to enter a four-digit pin and so your information is securely protected and only accessible to you. We do not record any payment details either.

How long will it take for the doctor to arrive?

Our rapid-response home visiting service is designed to get an experienced doctor to you within approximately 90 minutes. The ETA shown on the app time it takes depends upon other cases and prevailing traffic conditions and it can often be much less than this. You will be given an estimated time of arrival for the doctor when you book your visit.

can I be referred to see an NHS specialist?

No. CD247 is designed to handle Urgent and Primary Care medical issues. If you are worried about life threatening symptoms or a medical emergency, like loss of consciousness, severe chest pain, heavy blood loss or a serious accident please call 999/112 immediately.

Can I choose a doctor in my area?

Yes. The CD247 app allows you to either book an appointment instantly or schedule an appointment in the future. With Instant bookings the nearest doctor available will respond and with 'Book by Preference" bookings, you are able to select the date, time and doctor at your discretion.

During your appointment

Can the doctor prescribe medication?

We provide a mobile pharmacy service and our visiting GP can dispense immediate medication for common conditions. We have access to 24 hour pharmacies in London who can dispense and deliver medications to you. Please note that our doctors do not carry or prescribe controlled drugs.

I can be referred to a specialist?

If you require a referral to a specialist for additional services or treatment, our GP will discuss this with you at the time of the visit and complete a referral letter for you.

where will my visit take place?

You can choose where you would like to be seen when you book an appointment, be it at at the comfort of your own home, office or hotel room. It is important to maintain privacy and confidentiality when selecting a room. Visits will not be carried out in a public place.

What if I need additional tests such as blood tests, X-rays or scans?

All of our private doctors will come fully equiped to complete a comprehensive medical assessment. If blood tests are required, our doctors will be able to carry this out at the time of the visit. For other additional investigations or scans, you can be referred to our affiliated partners on Harley Street to have these carried out.

How long are the appointments?

This is entirely up to you. Our telephone consultations are a minimum of 15 minutes and home visits are 30 minutes, however if you would like to spend more time or ask the doctor to see a friend or family member this will incur additional charges that the doctor will make you aware of beforehand.

Payment and Billing

How much does it cost to use CD247?

Registering is totally free. If you have been given a promocode as part of a group benefit, you may not have to pay at all. If you are required to pay, you will only be charged after you confirm your booking with a doctor and your appointment time and payment information is confirmed. Prior to booking your appointment the total consultation charge is displayed and is transparent before you book. If additional services are necessary you will be informed by the doctor. Upon completion of your consultation an automatic invoice will be created and added to your profile on the app. Instant Visit: From £150 Instant Call: From £49

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit & credit cards, such as: VISA, MasterCard and American Express

What happens if I cancel my appointment?

Visit: If you cancel after requesting a visit but prior to the doctor confirming, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. If you cancel your visit appointment 5 minutes after the doctor has left, you will be charged 50% of the appointment fee. Telephone consultation:

Do you accept medical insurance?

CD247 currently operates as a private service and does not accept insurance, however, we can provide you with a detailed consultation invoice to aid you in reclaiming from your insurer. We are working towards becoming an in-network provider. Stay tuned.

After your appointment

What if I feel unwell after the doctor leaves?

CD247 provides a free follow up call within 24hours of your visit. CD247 is a 24hour service and if you are feeling unwell after your visit we recommed that you contact us to speak to a doctor.

Will my consultation summary be sent to my GP?

Your consultation summary is available to you on the app, in the history section. You are able to email this to yourself and to your registered NHS or Private GP. Your consultation notes remain confidential and we will not share this without informing you or without your consent. Referral letters will have a copy of your consultation summary attached which can be forwarded to the specialist at your discretion.

Can I be referred to see an NHS specialist?

CD247 is a Private GP service and we do not have access to the NHS system apart from Emergency care and referral to A&E. We can refer you back to your NHS GP who can refer you to an NHS specialist should you choose this route.

How will I receive my results?

If further investigations have been arranged, the results will come to CD247 for analysis. We will email these to you and arrange a telephone call with a doctor to discuss the results if needed.

Can you provide a sick note?

Yes. CD247 doctors are able to provide you with a fit note at the time of consultation. This is available to you on your clinical profile on the App as a PDF which you can download or print. Please note as we are a Private GP service we are unable to provide an NHS Med-3 fit to work notes.
